Piece Meal is an internet journal that reviews quality and meaningful writing featured in magazines.

There aren’t enough spaces in the writing world where one-good-thing is thought about. In Piece Meal we look at a single story, a poem or two, or some other piece of writing/media and provide an attentive review.

We especially like the idea of giving writers without printed books a chance to be taken seriously.

Basically, we are interested in taking single pieces of writing from the gazillions of journals published daily, rolling them around on tongue’s surface, alone there, without seasoning, and making a meal of it.
